CHANGYUAN, HENAN, CHINA – To enrich corporate culture and deepen the team’s commitment to the “Spirit of Craftsmanship,” Deans Join Heavy Industry recently organized a team-building visit to the historic Zhoufeng Winery, a site dedicated to preserving centuries of traditional brewing excellence.
Bridging Traditions: Deans Join Heavy Industry meets Intangible Cultural Heritage
Zhoufeng Winery carries a 600-year legacy, originating from the “Lifeng Workshop” of the Ming Dynasty, located in the heart of Changyuan, the center of China’s lifting machinery industry. It serves as a guardian of the “Zhoujiu” brewing technique, a recognized Provincial Intangible Cultural Heritage of Henan.
During the visit, the Deans Join team was led by Mr. Xie Xiangya, the 8th-generation inheritor of the Zhoujiu technique. Mr. Xie detailed the rigorous “multi-step brewing and four-season aging” process. From the meticulous selection of raw materials to the precision of fermentation and distillation, every step reflects a dedication that resonates deeply with Deans Join’s own philosophy: precision, persistence, and pursuit of excellence in heavy machinery manufacturing.
Immersive Experience & Cultural Connection
The team participated in a professional tasting and experienced the traditional “sealing ceremony” (Fengjiu). Engaging directly with historical tools and techniques allowed our staff to experience the “temperature and power” of heritage firsthand. This cross-industry exchange highlighted a shared truth: whether in brewing or engineering, quality is born from time and meticulous detail.
Looking Forward: Crafting the Future of Aluminum Equipment
This event was more than a team outing; it was a session of cultural alignment. By drawing inspiration from the master brewers’ dedication, Deans Join Heavy Industry reaffirms its commitment to the electrolytic aluminum sector. The precision required in the 600-year brewing process mirrors the technical rigor Deans Join applies to crane manufacturing.
